Questions, answered.

Gel, acrylics, timings and the odd chipped nail.

What is the difference between gel and builder gel?

Gel polish is a thin layer of colour that cures under the lamp. Builder gel is thicker, so it can shape and strengthen the nail, and it suits nails that bend or break.

Will acrylics damage my nails?

Not when they go on and come off with care. Most damage comes from picking or prising sets off, so let us remove them, and keep up with infills every two to three weeks.

How long will my appointment take?

Each treatment on this page shows its time. Nail art adds fifteen to forty-five minutes, depending on the tier.

What if a nail chips?

A free fix if a gel chips in the first week: call us and we will book you in to fix it, free. After that, a repair is £4 a nail.

Can you fix nails done somewhere else?

Yes. We usually remove another salon's set and start fresh, because we can't see what is underneath. Book a removal with your new set.
